Vicki Logan - Born Vicki Lee Vietzke - Never Really Planned On Becoming A Composer/musician. In 6th Grade She Was Introduced To Band Class And Played The Flute But Was Never Really Good At Sight Reading Music And Had A Hard Time "reading" It In Band But Somehow She Managed To Memorize Everything By Listening To Everyone Around Her. She Loved Playing And Excelled At It. She Played The Flute To Her Pets To The Trees To Just About Anyone Or Anything That Would Suffer Through A Performance. It Was Always Fun Making Buttons And Eventually Buggs Her Dogs Bark And Howl. Guess They Were Singing...
Today Vicki Has 4 CDs Out All Of Which Can Be Sampled Here At The Site. She's Been The President Of The Minnesota Association Of Songwriters Is A Member Of ASCAP Been Involved As A Member With NARAS Taught About The Business Of Being A Musician/composer/songwriter Met And Worked With Many Well-Known Musicians In The Industry Received Numerous Awards And Honors And Accomplished More As An Independent Than Many Have As Label Artists. Touring And Performing Has Been Limited As Vicki Has Health Issues But She Continues To Write Music In All Styles And Holds House Concerts On A Regular Basis. Occasionally She'll Donate One To Help Out Animal Welfare Organizations Or Social Organizations. She Loves Visiting Retirement Communities And Assisted Living Homes.
