The Mist Of Dawn Is An Ambient Project Of Evan Witten From Washington DC Formed In 2013. Evan Began His Musical Career In Elementary School With The Recorder Like So Many Other Millennials. His Efforts Turned To Trumpet But It Never Caught On. In Middle School Evan Switched To Percussion And Never Looked Back. His Early Percussion Infatuation Lead To Beats Being Banged Out On Everything In His Path. Eventually The Beat Had To Rest And Evan's Love For Ambient Music Began To Grow. The Style Of The Mist Of Dawn Ranges From Hollow Piano Pieces To Crunchy Distorted Noise. Evan Experiments With Ambient Sounds In Digital Audio Workstations And Sometimes Releases His Spastic Creations For Others To Experience. His Influences Include Brian Eno A Winged Victory For The Sullen Carbon Based Lifeforms And Labels Like Raster-Noton Kranky And Ultimae Records.
