The Musical Group Spleen Collective Grew From Composer Lennart Vanstaen’s Original Solo Project Spleen That Employed A Sound He Likes To Describe As "Melantronica". In 2007 Lennart Signed For Two Years With English Label Summer Rain Recordings Releasing Two EP’s 6 Moons Ago And Where We All Fit In. In 2009 Lennart Discovered The Sensitive Work Of Singer Arconic. Since Then She Writes The Lyrics Violin And Vocal Parts To His Compositions. At The Same Time Friend And Musician Tomas Vink Joined Lennart’s Live Project Adding Magic With Drums And Keyboards Soon Followed By Roel Goovaert’s Peacefull Bass. The Work Of VJ Artist Subtiv Completes The Band’s Universe Providing Harmonious Spectacles For Their Live Concerts. After A First Successful Gig At The Trix Muziekcentrum In Antwerp Spleen Was Renamed Spleen Collective Reflecting The 5 Artists’ Collaboration. They Are More Then A Band But A Musico-Visual Experience Where Multiple Soundscapes Cause Visual Layers To Dance.
