René Murat Auberjonois Born June 1 1940 In New York City Is An American Character Actor. After Portraying Father Mulcahy Nickname Dago Red In The Movie Version Of M*A*S*H He Became Well-Known For His Television Work As Clayton Endicott III On The Sitcom Benson And As Odo On Star Trek Deep Space Nine. He Made A Guest Appearance On Stargate SG-1 As Alar In The Season Four Episode "The Other Side". Currently He Plays Attorney Paul Lewiston On The David E. Kelley-Created Boston Legal. Movie Roles He Has Played Over The Years Include Col. West In Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country The Gangster Tony In Police Academy 5 Assignment Miami Beach And Reverend Oliver In The Patriot.
