Growing Up In Brooklyn Kerry Grew Up Around The Theater And Performing Arts. She Became A Broadway Darling Known For Her Amazing Stage Talents As A Singer And Actress. She Made Her Broadway Debut As Belle In Beauty In The Beast A Role She Originated With The Toronto Production. Most Notably She Received Rave Reviews Starring As Penny Pingleton In Hairspray Which Garnered Her With The Prestigious Clarence Derwent Award Given To One Male And One Female Performer A Year For Excellence In The Theater. She Also Received Drama Desk And Outer Critics Circle Award Nominations For That Role.
