Lead Vocalist Of Street Punk Band The Filaments Jon Fawkes Also Performs As An Acoustic Artist Under The Name Jonny One Lung - A Nickname Given To Him By Argy Bargy Drummer Ray Bussey After His Lung Collapsed On Stage At The Army & Navy Essex In 2000. Jonny One Lung Is Also Guitar/vocalist Of Acoustic Folk Band The 241ers Guitar/vocalist Of 2-Tone/ Reggae Band Babylon Whackers Guitarist In Female Fronted Punk Band Deadline And The Mastermind Singer And Guitarist Behind Dub/Reggae Band Suicide Bid. Originally From Chelmsford In Essex Where He Formed The Filaments And Babylon Whackers He Moved To Philadelphia In 2004 And There He Formed The 241ers With Ex Members Of The Stockyard Stoics And MDC. He Returned To The UK In May 2008 And The 241ers Subsequently Disbanded. He Is Still Active With The Filaments Suicide Bid Deadline And Babylon Whackers. Of His Solo Material He Says “I First Started Singing Songs Just Me And My Guitar When My Friend Hannah Was Fitted Up At The G8 Protests In Gleneagles And I Was Asked To Play A Benefit For Her Legal Funds.
