As Lead Singer For The 15-Piece Martinique-Based Band Kassav' Since 1984 Jocelyn Beroard Helped To Lay The Foundations Of Zouk A Popular Dance Blend Of Antillean Zairean And European Influences. Together With The Group Beroard Joined With Youssou N'Dour Peter Gabriel And Tracy Chapman In 1998 For A World Tour In Celebration Of The 50th Anniversary Of The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights. Their Performance In Paris On December 12 1998 Was Recorded And Included On A Multi-Artist Video And DVD Paris Concert For Amnesty International The Struggle Continues Released In 1999. read less
