Mr. Winningham Did Not Attend University For Music Instead Preferring To Study Composition And Theory On His Own Using Full Scores Of Mozart's Works And Text Books Such As "Albrechtsberger's Thorough Bass Harmony And Composition" "Harmony" By Walter Piston And "The Technique Of Orchestration" And "Counterpoint" By Kent Kennan. His Music Highly Melodic In Nature With Rich Harmonic Textures Adheres Loosely To 18th Century "Sonata Form" Which Acts As The Foundation For All Of His Works Regardless Of The Genre. Compositions In Minor Keys Are Dark And Powerful Whilst Those In Major Keys Tend To Be Majestic In Quality And Extremely Playful.
