Dai Watts Is Based In His Own Studio In North London Where He Works As A Songwriter Composer And Producer. He Has Recently Released The First Of Three Albums Depicting A Journey By Rail And Sea Through Europe And The Middle East Entitled Train Tracks And Travelogues Vol.1. Beginning In London & Ending In Venice The Sixteen Electro-Acoustic Tracks Relating To Different Places And Landscapes En Route Have Been Interwoven With Audio Samples And Field Recordings To Create One "seamless" Piece Of Music That Mixes Beat-Based Grooves Middle-Eastern Sounds Left-Field Melodies And Arrangements And Piano/orchestral Minimalism. Dai Studied Music At King's College London Where He Wrote The Music For Two New Musicals- "Dream Believer" And "BeBop The Ruler". He Began His Career As A Musical Director And Keyboard Player Working On Shows Ranging From "South Pacific" Crucible Sheffield "From A Jack To A King" Theatre Royal Plymouth And No.1 Tour And "Leader Of The Pack" Also No.I Tour To "Five Guys Named Moe" Lyric West End And "All You Need Is Love" Queen's West End . His Work As A Keyboard Player Has Seen Him Playing In Bands Whose Styles Have Ranged From Ska Soul And Blues To Country Indie And Pop.He Has Done Session Work For Nellee Hooper Bjork Massive Attack And Andy McKay Roxy Music And Live Work For Errol Kennedy Imagination The Brotherhood Of Man And The Divine David And Most Recently With The Cabaret Artist Celine At The Royal Festival Hall And Dartmouth House Mayfair. Dai Watts Has Had Several Songs Published In America Including "Getting Dirty" "High Wire" And "I Guess Well Never Know" All Published By Original Source Music And Featuring Becky Amissah Susie Webb And Daniel Pearce On Vocals Respectively. He Is Currently Producing A New Version Of "Change In The Weather" With Dominic Harris And Is Due To Release The Single "Irreplaceable" Featuring Jane Milligan In November 2009.
