Bill Knight Was Born In Lobatse Botswana In September 1957 And Moved To Cape Town In Early 1966. In 1982 Bill Joined The Barleycorn Music Club A Non-Profit NGO Dedicated To The Nurturing Of Emerging Local Musical Talent. In October 2005 Bill Was Awarded Honorary Life Membership Of The Club In Recognition Of His Contribution To Local Original Music. Bill Has Regularly Performed At The Annual Barleycorn Festival As Well As Other National Festivals Such As The Four Winds Festival In Port Elisabeth The National Arts Festival In Grahamstown Up The Creek Near Swellendam And The Splashy Fen Festival In The Drakensberg.. Bill Has Self-Produced Seven Albums One Of The Latest Entitled “Sout” Which Is In Many Ways A Reconciliation Of His English And Afrikaans Roots And Which Features Backing Provided By Roger Lucey And Rian Malan Amongst Others.
