Yuu Kikkawa First Name Often Stylized As You Born May 1 1992 In Ibaraki Japan Is A Japanese Pop Singer. She Joined Hello! Project In 2007 After Failing To Pass The 8th Generation Morning Musume Auditions Despite Making It To The Final Three Contestants. Kikkawa Started Out As Part Of The Hello! Pro Eggs The Idol Trainee Group. In Spring 2008 She Was Chosen With Fellow Hello! Pro Egg Sayaka Kitahara To Join MilkyWay A Group Formed To Perform Songs For The Anime Kirarin Revolution Starring Morning Musume Member Koharu Kusumi. All Three Girls Had Voice Roles In The Anime As Well. MilkyWay Continued To Perform Together Until The Spring Hello! Project Concert In 2009. In December 2010 It Was Announced That Kikkawa Had Completed Her Hello! Pro Egg Training. During The January 2011 Hello! Project Tour She Appeared As The Opening Act With Three New Songs. It Was Then Revealed Later That Month That She Would Be Releasing Her Debut Single That Spring. Though She Continues To Guest Star At Hello! Project Concerts Kikkawa's Albums Are Released Under Universal Music Japan Rather Than Any Of The H!P Labels And She Is Not Considered A Hello! Project Soloist.
