There Is More Than One Artist With This Name Including 1 The Terminals Is An Alternative Rock Band From New Zealand Formed In 1988. 2 The Terminals Was An American Garage Punk From Kansas. 3 The Terminals Was A Punk Rock Band From Lincoln Nebraska. 1 The Terminals Is A Psychedelic Rock Band From New Zealand Formed In 1988 With Several Members Being Veterans Of Other Bands. Vocalist Stephen Cogle And Drummer Peter Stapleton Had Both Been Members Of The Victor Dimisich Band In The Early 1980s Stapleton Also Playing With The Pin Group And Scorched Earth Policy. Guitarist Ross Humphries Was An Ex-Member Of The Pin Group And Mick Elborado Played Bass And Keyboards With Scorched Earth Policy.
Signing To Flying Nun The Band's Debut Release Was The Disconnect EP In 1988 Followed By Two Albums For The Label. Humphries Was Replaced By Former Scorched Earth Policy Guitarist Brian Crook. The Band Moved To The Xpressway Label For Their Third Album Touch. Little Things Followed In 1995.
Early Releases Were Fairly Poppy E.G. "Frozen Car" Though The Darkness Begins To Emerge With "Disconnect" And Then Dominates Subsequent Releases On Xpressway Raffmond And Siltbreeze. Standout Songs Include "Native Waiter " "Deadly Tango " And A Cover Of Roxy Music's "Both Ends Burning." After Their 2007 Album "Last Days Of The Sun" The Band Were On Extended Hiatus. In 2017 They Released The Album "Antiseptic". 2 The Terminals Was An American Garage Punk From Kansas. 3 The Terminals Was A Punk Rock Band From Lincoln Nebraska Comprising Brooks Hitt Dave Goldberg Liz Hitt.
