Artist Biography For The Old Dance School

The Old Dance School Was A British Seven-Piece Folk Band From Birmingham Formed In 2006. Since 2015 The Band Has Been Known As The Fair Rain. The Band Began As A Gathering Of Friends In The Garden Of The Old Betty Fox School Of Ballet In Birmingham From Where The Band Took Their Name. Among The Nettles Each Member Would Bring Along A Tune Or A Song For The Group To Experiment With. In 2010 After 30 000 Miles And Nearly Forty Festivals The Ensemble’s Album "Forecast" Was Released. An Earlier Album "Based On A True Story" Was Released In 2008 And Was Championed By BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris.
