Formed In 2000 As A Solo Project The Hair Thieves Took Their Name From A Eddie Izzard Sketch About Why Old Ladies Only Ever Buy Dog Food And Hair Nets. The Hair Thieves Play An Eclectic Mix Of Ambient Indie Pop Rock With Occasional Jazz Punk And Soundtrack Overtones. Each 4 Track EP So Far With The Exception Of The Forthcoming EP5 Have Featured Collaborations With Other Artists From Both Close To Home And Abroad. Each EP Finishes With An Instrumental. EP1 Was Released In January 2006. EP2 Was Released In September 2006. EP3 Was Released In August 2008. EP4 Was Released In December 2010 To Coincide With The 10th Anniversary Of The Band EP5 Is Due For Release In In The Spring Of 2013 If Spring Ever Arrives.
