There Are At Least Four Bands Called The Fingers. 1. The Fingers Were A British Psychedelic Band From The Southend-On-Sea Area Produced By Peter Eden. They Were One Of The First Acts To Label Themselves "psychedelic". Formed In The Early Sixties They Even Took The Stage With A Monkey Called Freak Out Who They Claimed Produced Psychotic Smells. The Band's Line-Up Was Richard Rick Mills Lead Vocals/rhythm Guitar Mo Witham Lead Guitar/backing Vocals Alan Beecham Keyboards Dave Grout Rhythm Guitar/backing Vocals John Bobin Bass Guitar/backing Vocals And Bob Clouter Drums . They Released 4 Singles In 1966 And 1967 Before Disbanding. Mills Went On To Play In Crocheted Doughnut Ring. They Had A Reunion In 2012 Played Some Live Gigs Of Which The Album Wade In The Shade Is Live Recording. One Of Their Recordings Was A Cover Version Of The Ray Davies-Penned 'I Go To Sleep' June 1966 . 2. The Fingers Were An Early Punk Band From Pennsylvania. The Band Released Only One Single Called "Isolation" Then Later Moved To The New York To Become The Features Of "Floozie Of The Neighborhood" Notoriety. 3.The Fingers Were An Late 80s/early 90s Garage Punk Band From East L.A. Consisting Of Brothers Shane And Jason White Later Of The Rip Offs And The Tight Fits And Ralph Barcarcel. Discography "The First Time" 7 Pre B.S. "You Get On My Nerves" 7" Bag Of Hammers "The Rusty Quan E.P" 7" Rat City "Melons On Melrose" 7" Pure Filth 4. The Fingers Were A Japanese Psych-Beat Band Of The 1960s.
