Artist Biography For The Fictional Jacket
Lake County Indiana 2008-Present The Fictional Jacket Is A Two-Piece Post-Folk Pop Acoustic Band That Comes To Us From The Talent-Rich Lake County Music Scene. Singer/guitarist Nicole Pancini A Student At Ball State University And Guitarist/backup Singer Michael Grace Chancellors Of Justice Michael Wayne A Student At Purdue University Calumet Make Up The Band. They Met In Public Relations Class And Quickly Found Common Interests. The Two Began Playing Together In Late March Of 2008 And Went On An Indefinite Hiatus Around The Beginning Of 2009 Due To Conflicting Life Schedules. Their Name Is A Relative Mystery. Some Say It Has No Meaning At All And Neither Of The Band Members Have An Explanation. Faded Gold Their Debut Album Titled Faded Gold Is A Concept Album Of Sorts. It Follows The End Of A Romantic Relationship. While There Are Rumors That Michael And Nicole Were At One Time Romantically Involved Once Again The Band Chooses Keep Their Private Lives Private. They Began Recording The Album On Michael's Laptop And Eventually Continued The Recording On Nicole's Computer. The Album Draws Heavily On Their Common Love Of Acoustic Rock And Folk Rock. Intertwined Between The Full Song Tracks Are Little Bits Of The Recording Process That Show The Band's Sense Of Humor. It Is Still In Production And Does Not Have A Release Date Due To The Hiatus.
