Frogtoon Music - Song Info: Outlaw Raparee

Outlaw Raparee Is A Powerful Track Entwined With Irish Rebel Culture. The Song Is All About The Freedom Fought For By The Irish Republican Army IRA Throughout The 1900s. Lyrics Such As "I'm England's Foe I'm Ireland's Friend" Support This And Help Give The Listener A Bold Understanding Of The Tensions Between The Two Nations During This Era Due To Conflicts In Northern Ireland Better Known Simply As "The Troubles". Whilst Fairly Unknown The Song Is Often Used In Ireland To Celebrate The Victory Over The British Troops And Is Commonly Used As A "drinking" Song Due To Its Fast Paced Upbeat Nature.
