Taylor Collins Is An American Singer-Songwriter Born May 19 1990 That Creates A Unique Blend Of Folk Rock And Alternative Music. Collins Grew Up In The Suburbs Of Southern California And Was Influenced At A Young Age By Old Soul And R&B Records As Well As The Likes Of The Beatles Bob Dylan And Johnny Cash. Taylor Began Writing Music At The Age Of 15 And Recorded His First Lo-Fi Demos In The Confines Of His Bedroom. Concerts At Family Gatherings Evolved Into Intimate Coffee House Performances Until He Eventually Crossed Paths With Percussionist And Recording Engineer Spencer Baldwin. Baldwin Became His Musical Counterpart And Collaborater In The Orange County Rock Group Wolf Like Me. Although The Band Was Short-Lived Their Partnership Is What Remains The Catalyst For This Musical Journey. Along The Road Collins Enlisted A Rotation Of Musicians To Accompany Him Live Until Finally Settling On What Is Now His Official Backing Band. 'Taylor Collins' Is Spencer Baldwin Drums/Percussion John Lutfalah Guitar/Vocals Spencer Collins Bass And Taylor Collins Guitar/Vocals . "The Failing Light EP" Was Independently Released In The Summer Of 2009 In Huntington Beach CA. It Consists Of 7 Original Songs And Is Available For Purchase On ITunes CD Baby And Amazon. "Spider In The Blossom" Was Recorded In The Winter Of 2010 In Nashville TN And Was Released Under The Umbrella Of Burning Blue Music. "Spider In The Blossom" Can Also Be Found On ITunes And All Other Digital Media Outlets. In The Fall Of 2011 Taylor And Company Began Recording On What Would Be Their Third Release Splitting Time In Studios In Long Beach And Huntington Beach. "The Pheonix" Is A 6 Song EP Slated To Be Released In Early April Of 2012.
