Originally Called "Unknowns" In 2003 Corrado De Fabritiis Guitar Marco Recchiuti Bass And Danilo Malatesta Drums Marked The Genesis Of A Band A Little Later Would Become A Reference Point In The Music Scene In Abruzzo. In 2005 Tired Of The Music Scene In Abruzzo The Sound Of Soul Decide To Get Closer To The Anglo-Saxon World Initially With London As Destination But Later Opting For Dublin At The Time In Full Social And Artistic Ferment. After A Journey Of Six Days 70s Style With An Old Van Full Only Of Equipment And Their Own Lives They Arrive In The Irish Capital In Early November Ready To Join The Dublin Scene As Soon As Possible.
They Begin Attending Almost Immediately The Rehearsal Rooms The Factory Historical Studio Used By U2 David Bowie Coors Etc ... And Temple Bar Music Centre In The Heart Of The City. It's Not Long Before The Band Starts To Perform In The Historical Venues Of Dublin. The First Performance Takes Place At Sin-È Twin Of The Famous New York Venue Immediately Followed By A Concert At Eamonn Doran's Stage Made Famous By The Cranberries. The Band Begins To Build Up A New Fan Base And To Perform Gradually In All The Main Venues Of The City.
Among All Are Especially Noteworthy The Concerts As Headliners At The Village Whelan's And Pravda The Participation In A Sold Out Event Sponsored By Phantom Radio At The Academy One One Of The Most Important Venues In Ireland And The Organization Of A Sold Out Charity Concert At Think Tank In Support Of The City Of L'Aquila After The 2009 Earthquake.
In Addition The Band Participated In The Dublin Soul Festival At Cassidy's Was A Guest Of Balcony TV And Has Performed In Other Famous Venues Such As The Button Factory Formerly TBMC Or The Sugar Club.
In The Course Of Their Experience In Dublin They Have Come In Contact With Veterans Of Irish Music Like Neil Mitchell Ex-Angels Of Mons With Whom They Recorded A Demo At Jam Factory Same Studio Where They Met Mark Greaney Formerly JJ72 . In 2010 Due To Personal And Family Events The Sound Of Soul Decide To Return To Italy And Contribute With Their New Artistic Maturity To The Italian Music Scene Too. The Band Restarts From Their Origins From Abruzzo With A Summer Tour During Which They Perform At Music Festivals In Pineto And Cellino Musicalmente Policastro Festival In Campania Notti Bianche In Roseto And Notaresco And Gigs In Ortona And Avezzano. During The Tour The Band Has Reached The Number 7 In The Myspace Italy Indie Charts After Oasis And Zen Circus. In 2011 Sound Of Soul Enter The Studio To Record Their First Official Album. During The Summer The Band Still Busy In The Studio Performs Some Promotional Concerts Anticipating The Album Release. In Late 2011 The Video "Democrazia" Is Published On Youtube With 10000 Views Within A Week.
In April 2012 The Album "Beauty" Is Released And Will Be Followed By A Tour And Promotion Via Radio And Web. read less
