It’s Anything That You Don’t Really Question Where You Follow Your Group Of People. We’re All In Soft Cults In Society That We Don’t Realize We’re A Part Of We’re Just Willing Participants Because It’s A Normalized Thing At This Point. It Can Sound A Little Harsh But It’s Also Meant To Make You Question Which Soft Cults Are You A Part Of.” The Siblings Were Also Members Of Courage My Love.

Mercedes Arn-Horn “We Wrote The Song The Night We Heard About What Happened To Sarah Everard. We Were Just So Filled With Rage And Frustration And Needed To Express It Somehow. That Same Week Which Ironically Was International Women’s Week There Was An Attack Targeting Women At A Spa In Atlanta. Then A Day Or So Later As We Were Finishing Up The Song We Heard About Police Brutality At The Vigils For Sarah Everard In London. Of Course While All This Violence Is Happening The Hashtag #NotAllMen Is Trending.” Mercedes Arn-Horn “We Wrote ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ About Gender Violence And The Double Standard Hypocrisy And Dissonance Of The ‘bro Code’. Covering Up For Your Buddies After They’ve Assaulted Someone Creates A Dangerous Environment Especially For Women. All Of Us Need To Be Allies In This Fight Against Gender Violence And Hold Our Circles Accountable. The Line ‘if There’s One In Your Company I Wonder When They’re Gonna Come For Me’ Sums It Up Pretty Well.”
