Hip-Hop Band From The North Of Iceland That Recently Opened Up For The Hi-Pop Queens In Sugababes When They Played In Reykjavik. Skytturnar Is A Hiphop Group From Akureyri That Has Been Together For Five Years. The Band Consists Of Seven Individuals With Different Backgrounds 4 Mc's 1 Producer 1 Guitarist And 1 Keyboard Player. The Group’s First LP Illgresid Was Released Last Year And Was Very Succesfull Was Reviewed As The Best Icelandic Hiphop Album Ever And Was On Many Top 5 Lists Of The Best Album Of The Year In Iceland. Skytturnar Started As A Normal Hiphop Band Of Four Members But Have Developed Into A Band That Isn’t Afraid To Bring Influences From Various Musical Trends And That Can Be Heard On He New LP. Skytturnar Has A Reputation For Powerful Live Act Recently They Played For 5000 People As The Opening Act For Sugababes In Iceland.
