SilentJ Began In The Early Spring Of 2007 With Two Acoustic Guitars On A Backyard Deck In Ellicott City MD. We Soon Added A Third Guitar That Quickly Transformed Into A Bass. Months Later Another Meeting On The Deck Turned Up A Drummer From Down The Street. Days Later SilentJ Was Born In A Basement Jam Session. During The Spring And Summer Months Of 2007 SilentJ Kevin Brady Jeff Daro John Mauser Tim Newman Worked Continuously To Harness The Raw Energy That Each Individual Brought To The Table To Produce A Sound They Could Call Their Own. Not Long After SilentJ Played For The First Time In Front Of An Audience At A Labor Day Festival That Marked The End Of A Great Summer Of Musical Discovery And The Beginning Of Greater Things To Come! Since Then SilentJ Has Composed Some 20 Original Pieces And Has Carefully Selected A Set Of Cover Tunes That Collectively Offers A Musical Library That Distinguishes SilentJ From The Rest Of The Baltimore Live Music Scene.
