Coming Out Of The Ashes Of The Strange Daze Festival Is An Ohio Based Space Rock Band Called Secret Saucer. A Modern Space Rock Band Composed Of Members Who Have Toured With Hawkwind And Nik Turner Who Are Members Or Ex-Members Of Quarkspace Architectural Metaphor Church Of Hed And National Steam.
On Their Debut CD Entitled "Element 115" The Musicians Got Together For One Weekend And Just JAMMED! Therefore The Music Is Pure Improvisational Spacerock/krautrock. The Lineup Includes Greg Kozlowski Gtr. Synth Steve Hayes Synth Steve Taylor Gtr Drums Dave Hess Synth Gliss Gtr. Bill Spear Bass Thom Marianetti Drums Synth Paul Williams Drums Synth Jay Swanson Keys And Dan Schnell Gtr Bass Ted Boburka Drums With Several Of The Musicians Playing Different Instruments On Various Tracks. Over A Dozen Hours Of Music Was Recorded But Has Been Distilled Down To Their First CD. These Are Not Mindless Wandering Spacejams But Cohesive And Focused.
