Born Into A Family Of Professional Musicians Robert Gillies Not Only Received A Thorough Musical Education Throughout His Early Years But Also Enjoyed The Opportunities And Benefits Which Coming From A Musical Background Offered. Aged Four He Began Piano Lessons And Aged Nearly Eight Trumpet Lessons Began Culminating In Studying For His Grade Eight Associated Board Final Exams By His Fifteenth Birthday. Having Considered Careers In Physics Film And Drama During His Teenage Years An Interesting Twist Finally Led Him Back Into Music. When Laid Low For Several Weeks Of Illness In Paris His Only Companion A Guitar He Took To Learning The Instrument As A Means To Passing The Time But It Soon Became The Means To Unlocking A Hidden Passion.
