A Finalist In The Lilith Fair Talent Search For New York City And In The 2001 Unisong Songwriting Contest Relative Sight Is An Acoustic Duo That Combines The Diverse Talents Of Heidi Palalay And Janet Taggart. The Duo Released Their Second CD More Than One Life Which Has Been Chosen By Performing Songwriter Magazine As On Of The Top DIY Releases In The June 2003 Issue. These Two Classically Trained Musicians Met As Roommates While Attending Baltimore’s Famed Peabody Conservatory Of Music. On The One Hand Janet Matches Her Enchanting Vocals With Vibrant And Resonant Cello Performances. On The Other Hand Heidi’s Sweet Harmonizing Vocals Are Complemented By Her Smooth Liquid Guitar Style. When These Two Forces Of Nature Converge The Result Is Relative Sight. In Addition To The Cello And The Guitar Their Sound Is Punctuated By Heidi’s And Janet’s Equally Riveting Virtuosity On The Piano And The Sweet Tones Of Heidi’s Oboe And English Horn.
