Panacea Dream Is An Unsigned Band From Birmingham UK Who Fuses Dark Melodies And Intensity Into A Unique Compelling Blend Of Alternative And Progressive Rock. Beside Their Typical Sound The Band Can Always Surprise With Sporadic Tracks Ranging From Soaring Ballads To Pounding Punk. Energetic Live Performances Capture The Mood And Intensity Of Panacea Dream Well And The Band Are Always Eager To Play The Next Show Taking Their Music To New Listeners Both Locally And Beyond. The Earliest Incarnation Of Panacea Dream Was In Spring 2008 With Brothers Sam Guitar And Darius Drums Khan Meeting Bass-Player Phil Blakeman. The Following Autumn The 4 Track Demo “Indelible” Was Recorded With Canadian Vocalist Andrew Spark. Local Singer Wayne Dickenson Replaced Spark In Summer 2009 After The Canadian Returned Home And The Band Is Now Well Settled. In Summer 2010 The Band Recorded Their 8 Track Debut Album “After The Blackout” With All Recording Production And Distribution Financed And Managed Independently. The Dark Feel Of The Record Is Defined From The First Song “Haunted” With Tracks Like The Punk “No Democracy” And The Uplifting “Reborn” Punctuating The Mood. Also Prevalent Are The Dynamics With Songs Building Up From Gentle Verses To Intense Choruses With Rousing Guitar Work And Captivating Rhythms. Two Singers Later In Autumn 2012 Panacea Became A Five Piece For The First Time. Dodge Turner Joined As The Band's New Vocalist And James McHugh As Additional Guitarist Both Adding Extra Dimensions To The Sound Of The Band. Working On Brand New Material The Band Are Looking Forward To Playing More Shows Across The West Midlands And Recording Their Second Full Length Album.
