Owls Of The Swamp Is The Work Of One Pete Uhlenbruch A Melbourne-Based Iceland-Obsessed Musician And Artist. His First Release The Well-Received Independently Released 'Smoky Bay' September 2007 Indicated An Ear For Intimacy And Atmosphere With Layers Of Strings Woodwind And A Choir Fleshing Out His Songs Of Geography And Personal Journeys. His Second 'Go With River' July 2011 Increased His Profile. Despite Spending 6 Months Living In Berlin And Touring Europe Following It's Release He Is A Regular Performer Around Melbourne Venues Co-Founder Of The Laterra Now Melodica Festival And The Undercover Music Lover Musical Collective.
