Nikolaj & Piloterne Are A Danish Pop / Rock Group With Nikolaj Christensen In The Lead.
Nikolaj Christensen Began His Musical Career In The Mid-1980s When He After Having Played In Various Bands In Copenhagen Was The Frontman In Shoeshine There Was Little In The Direction Of Thin Lizzy / Phil Lynott. The Young Singer With The Hoarse Voice Was Quickly Spotted By A Record Company And He Got A Solo Contract That Gave Him A Major Breakthrough With The Debut Album Pilots From 1989 Which Made Him A Teen Idol In Denmark. On Subsequent Records - Both With And Without Its Pilots - Nikolai Moved Gradually Away From The Teen Pop Rock Appellant Towards A More Adult Roots-Rock Expression. The Latest Album Mand! Appeared In 2009.
