Murley Shertz Is A Chicago-Based Blues-Rock-Jam Band Consisting Of Multi-Instrumental Talents Ryan Curtis Vocals/Guitar Dave Wilson Vocals/Drums Scott Burdsall Tenor Sax/Vocals/Guitar And Travis Hall Bass . Influenced By Bands Such As Stevie Ray Vaughn The Beatles Umphrey's McGee Paul Simon Led Zeppelin Jeff Coffin Soulive Frank Catalano The Police And Jeff Buckley The Band Brings Their Unique Sound Wherever They Go. What Started As A 2005 Summer Break Project Between Local Musicians Attending University Of Iowa Indiana University Columbia College And Berklee School Of Music Murley Shertz Has Become A Serious Band Since Moving To Chicago Full Time Last Year. Murley Shertz Has Established Themselves As A Music Lovers' Band By Blending Their Unique Style And Instrumentation Together To Create An Indescribable But Welcoming Sound. The Band Has Been Rocking The Chicago Area For The Past Three Years With Their Tasteful Covers And Unique Original Songs Creating A Steady Following Of Fans.
