He Discovered The Art Of Mixing Electronic Music At The Tender Age Of 16 And Two Years Later He Got Residency At Various Clubs In His Local Area. In 2000 He Started The Techno Project ”Bastlers” With His Friend Sören Kröger. After A Couple Of Releases On Proton Rec He Got Booked At World Famous Clubs Like Tresor In Berlin Among Others. He Also Started Working In A Local Record Shop In Stuttgart Where He Met Eduard Hartter And Markus Liefke – Who Now Are His Partners In The World Famous Afrilounge Collective. Together They’ve Released Records On Pokerflat Get Physical And 8 Bit. They Found Their Musical Home In The Frankfurt-Based Label Connaisseur Founded By Their Best Buddy Alex Flitsch. Besides The Afrilounge Project Liapin Started The Digital House Label Genowefa Records Together With His Long Time Girlfriend Beate Opitz.
