L.S.U. Started Off As The Lifesavors Then After A Slight Name Change To Lifesavers Morphed Into Lifesavers Underground Followed By A Brief Stint As L.S. Underground Before Settling On The Initials. However The Band Is Essentially Michael Knott Who Also Has A Number Of Solo Albums And Performed As Aunt Bettys Which Was Knott's Stab At Mainstream Acclaim. Although A Christian Knott's Writing Rarely Drifted Into That Arena Prefering To Write Songs About Characters Both Based Off Of Real Life And Made Up.
