Kini Mod Is A 25 Year Old Singer/ Songwriter From Berlin Where He Was Born And Grew Up. At The Age Of 16 He Began To Write Songs On His Guitar. Influenced By Bands And Artists Like Tocotronic Radiohead Elliott Smith Iron & Wine Or Nick Drake He Developed The Style Of His Music. Mostly His Songs Are Just Instrumented With Vocals And Guitars. A Very Quiet And Introverted Mood Is Generated By That. The Music And Espacially The Lyrics Are Very Emotional Serious And Personal That's Why Kini Mod Sings In German Which Is His Native Language. In 2001 Kini Mod Started To Record His First CDs. In The Following Years He Recorded Many Songs And Albums By His Own At The Basement Of His Parents' House. The Production Was Badly Low Budget But It Was Good Enough To Retain All The Songs He Wrote And Besides It Was A Well Opportunity To Experiment And To Create A Style. In The Years 2001-2005 Eight Album Were Produced This Way "D-Moll" "Nachtrag" "Endlich" "Auf Ins Verderben 1 & 2" "Zwischen Den Welten" "Offiziell Glücklich" "Nichts Als Projektion" . Still There Are Many Songs From This Period Left Which Were Not Recorded. From 2001-2004 Kini Mod Played In A Band Called "Cluricauns" Aswell. In The Summer Of 2006 Kini Mod Recorded The EP "Studio 3" In A Semi-Professional Studio. After Having Recorded Another Album In 2007 In His Appartment In Berlin "Neues Land" Which Was Written In 2005 Kini Mod Recorded His First LP In A Professional Studio In 2008 "Nachtsession". The Recording Took Five Nightsessions Thats Why The Title Was Chosen.... Since That Kini Mod Works On New Songs And Started To Record A New CD. His Music Is A Very Personal Thing For Kini Mod. It Has Only The Intension To Express Feelings And To Create A Piece Of Art. That's Why No Music Were Made Public Since Two Years Ago. In 2009 Kini Mod Started To Play Solo Gigs In Berlin. read less
