Born In Fort Campbell Kentucky And Raised In Hopkinsville For Most Of His Childhood He Was Ten Years Old When He Became Interested In Playing Guitar. Over The Many Years From That Time Keith Has Owned Seven Different Guitars And Continues To Create His Own Style Of Acoustic Music. At The Age Of Fourteen His Family Moved To His Father's Childhood Stomping Grounds Near The Small Town Of Heflin Louisiana. Keith Continued His Teenage Years There Playing His Music For Friends And Family And Later Winning An Award In His High School Talent Show. At Age Nineteen He Headed For Idaho To Serve A Two Year Mission For His Church. Afterward Keith Returned Home To Louisiana And It Didn't Take Long To Realize That There Wasn't Much In The Way Of Opportunity And Personal Growth For Him There. He Felt That His Future Lie Somewhere Else. Seattle Washington Seemed The Right Place To Be. So It Wasn't Long Before He Packed His Bags Loaded Up His '73 Chevrolet Nova And Made The Trek West. He Spent Nearly The Next Eight Years In Seattle And While There He Decided That Flying Sailplanes Would Be Fun Until Money Ran Short And He Could No Longer Afford It. But The Experience Left Such An Impression On Him That It Inspired His Song "Whispering Wind". Eventually He Wrote The Ballad "I'm In Love" And Recorded It At Ironwood Studio North Of Seattle. This Was His Very First Studio Recording Project And It Later Received Limited Airplay On A Popular Seattle Radio Station. A Few Years Later Keith Left Seattle And Went To Utah Where He Now Lives With His Family In Spanish Fork. He Attributes His Musical Style To Personal Life Experiences And A Deep Belief That Music Should Be An Uplifting Source Of Inspiration. read less
