In 2005 The Danish Trio Jacob Faurholt & Sweetie Pie Wilbur Released Their Debut Album "Queen Of Hope" On The Danish Independent Label Quartermain Records. On "Queen Of Hope" You’ll Hear An Under-Acted Spontaneous And Intimate Pop With Little Mistakes And Disharmonies. To Support The Album Jacob Faurholt & Sweetie Pie Wilbur Played A Long Line Of Concerts Including Support For CocoRosie Grizzly Bear And Efterklang. Faurholt’s Second Album First On His Own "Hurrah Hurrah" Was Released In 2007. It Is An Album Of 10 Lo-Fi Folk Songs With Outbursts Of Noise And Johanna And Miriam E Berhan From The Swedish Duo Taxi Taxi! Contributes Vocals To The Song "Sing Little Bird". Faurholt’s Third Album "Are You In The Mood For Love?" Followed In February 2009 On The Danish Label Slow Shark Records. A Dark Atmospheric And Sparse Album With Drunken Backing Vocals Recorded Live With Danish Producer Kristian Westergård. Faurholt Played Several Concerts Around Denmark To Support The Release Including Support For The Handsome Family And His Old Time Favorites The Black Heart Procession. In November 2009 Faurholt Released An EP With His New Project Why Write? On The Canadian Based Label What A Mess! Records. The American Producer Kramer Galaxie 500 Low Daniel Johnston Mixed The Songs Which Have A Richer Instrumentation Than Faurholt’s Previous Work And Draws Comparison To Noise-Pop Bands From The Early Nineties. In August 2010 Faurholt Released Two Songs With Danish Lyrics On A 7" Vinyl Called "Utyske!". The Lyrics Were Written By Kasper Rønberg Schultz Ex - Sweetie Pie Wilbur . Faurholt's 4th Album "Dark Hours" Was Released On Raw Onion Records August 15th 2011. Jacob Faurholt Is Currently Living In Berlin.

In January 2010 Faurholt Moved From His Danish Hometown Aarhus To Berlin Where He Is Making Music And Working As An Extra On German Soap Operas Crime TV-Shows And Films. Most Of The Songs On Dark Hours Were Written In Faurholts Living Room During The Extremely Cold Winter In 2010. It Was Also There He Made The Basic Recordings For The Album. After That Faurholt Asked Musicians And Friends If They Wanted To Help Out And Guest The Album. A Lot Of The Work On The Album Was Made By Sending Files Back And Forth And Dark Hours Ended Up Being Recorded Such Different Places As Berlin Copenhagen Reykjavik And Somewhere In The US. Among The Musical Guests Is Nona Marie Invie From The American Band Dark Dark Dark Sóley From The Icelandic Band Seabear And Kaspar From The Danish Alt. Country Act Cody. Finally Faurholt Sent All The Tracks To Experimental Musician Marc Kellaway Who Got Creative Freedom To Make Further Recordings And Thereafter Mix The Album. Kellaway And Faurholt Have Also Worked Together On Queen Of Hope The Debut Album From Jacob Faurholt & Sweetie Pie Wilbur 2005 . Dark Hours Was In The End Mastered By John Golden Mount Eerie Red House Painters Sonic Youth . Release 15 August 2011 Raw Onion Records
