High Level Static Were Formed In Winter Of 2001 By Ermis Koukaris And Stelios Liaros. Ermis Student Of Geotechnology And Stelios Student Of Engineering Had Already Been Good Friends And Having Worked Together Both During Live Appearances And As DJ's They Joined Forces Forming High Level Static. It Didn't Take Long For The First Samples Of Work To Come Up And Soon Demos Were Sent To Various Discographic Companies Abroad - A Four-Track Demo Wasn't Enough To Get Them A Contract. The Songs Were Reworked New Ones Were Added And The First Signs Of Success Made Their Appearance The Web-Mag Www.Side-Line.Com Reviewed The Demo Praising The Effort By Giving 8/10 Forseeing That High Level Static Would Soon Sign A Contract. Immediately After They Were Selected To Participate In The Electrauma Vol. 6 Collection By Triton Records. After A While Trisol / Matrix Cube Showed Interest About Their Work And Offered Them A Contract. Taking Part In Collections Continued ... Strangelove 6 By Orkus Angels & Demons By Trisol. At The Same Time Orkus Spoted High Level Static As "Newcomer Of The Month" Including A Band's Tribute At The February's Pages. Their Debut Album "Shining" Was Released In 01/10/2003.
