Fjellelv Is The Side Project Of Sole Member Thorn Aristaeus Amy Magnetar Heztael Formed In 2006 As A Way To Thoroughly Explore Ambient Sound-Scapes Black Metal And Neo-Classical Compositions. Early Recordings Were Mostly Nature And Fantasy Inspired. The Debut Entitled 'Daggryet Flammer' And Released Through Dungeons Deep Records Is A Good Example With Tracks Like "Realms Of The Sylvan Ghost".. "Dusk" And "Entering Winter's Reign" Displaying Heavily Nature Influences While Other Tracks Such As "Arrival Of The Horde" Delved Into A Fantasy Influenced "Battle Ambient" Sound.
Later Works Include "A Forest Funeral" Released Exclusively As A Free Download Album. A Split Entitled "Under The Red Sky" And The Long Awaited "Deadwood Realm" Released Originally On Dead Moon Records And Later Through EEE Recordings Njiqahdda Recent Tracks Have Ventured Into A More Funeral Doom Direction And Subject Matter Focuses Heavily On Depression Nihilism And Absolute Bleakness. Most Of The Past Releases Are Soon To Be Released On Bandcamp As Free Downloadable Albums.
