Dr. Dorinda Clark Cole Was Born And Raised In Detroit Michigan Matriculating At The Detroit Institute Of Commerce. She Diligently Pursued Education In The Field Of Court Reporting Until Her Schedule Of Evangelizing Began To Supersede Her Career Endeavors. She Is The Wife Of Minister Gregory Cole And Mother Of Two Nikkia And Gregory Junior. Evangelist Cole A Member Of The Renowned Gospel Singing Group The Clark Sisters Has Made Great Contributions In The World Of Music. She Is The Founder And CEO Of Lifeline Productions Incorporated And Coordinates The Annual Singers And Musicians Conference Which Instructs And Showcases Young Talent In The Gospel Industry. She Is A Talented Songwriter Choir Director And Musician Who Has Been Featured In As Well As Graced The Covers Of National Industry And Popular Magazines Everywhere. A Few Of Her Local Contributions Consist Of Being A Dedicated Member And Administrator Of The Greater Emmanuel Institutional Church Of God In Christ Under The Pastorate Of Dr. J. Drew Sheard Is Assistant Administrator To The North Central Jurisdiction Supervisor Of Michigan Along With Being The Administrator And Instructor At The Clark Conservatory Of Music And Arts Academy A School Founded By Her Mother The Late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. Dr. Cole Attributes Much Of Her Success To Her Mother Having Steered Her With Godly Admonition By Precept And Example.
In 2002 Dr. Cole Celebrated Her Self Titled Debut Release On GospoCentric Records. This New Musical Endeavor Only Helped To Catapult The Ministry Of Dorinda Clark Cole To The Masses. Her Long Awaited Debut Album Was Worth The Wait Spitting Out Anointed Ballads Such As "I'm Still Here" And "You Don't Have To Leave Here The Same." The CD Also Included " I'm Coming Out" With My Hands Up And "You Can't Hurry God " Two Songs That Quickly Became Church Anthems. The Industry At Large Could Not Deny The Gifting And Anointing On This CD And Accolades And Awards Began To Pour In. In 2003 Dr. Cole Graciously Accepted Two Stellar Awards For Female Vocalist Of The Year And Traditional Female Vocalist Of The Year. Doors Continued To Open As She Began Ministering On National Television Stations And Shows Including BET Bobby Jones Gospel Gospel Superfest Trinity Broadcasting Network And Soul Train Where She Received The 2003 Soul Train Lady Of Soul Award For Best Female Gospel Artist.
Dr. Cole's Vocal Ministries Have Even Scored In The Sports Arena. In December 2003 Dorinda Clark Cole Performed At The 38th Super Bowl. She Sang The National Anthem To Open The MIAMI HEAT And PHILADELPHIA 76ers Game And Is The First Black Female Gospel Artist To Perform At Half Time During The March 2004 Memphis Grizzlies Gospel Night Event. As You Can See Dr. Cole Is Constantly Making Her Mark In History. In South Africa She Was The First Black Woman To Minister In A Pulpit To Over 4 000 People. She Was Also Given The Distinguished Honor Of Accompanying Former Presiding Prelate Of The Church Of God In Christ Bishop Chandler Owens On His Official Visit To Yongsen Korea.
In September 2004 Evangelist Cole Received The Honorary "Doctor Of Divinity" Degree From Mt. Carmel Theological Seminary Of Fresno California. Singer Evangelist Doctor And All Around Anointed Woman Of God Dr. Cole's Primary Endeavor Is To Reach Those Who Have Never Been Inside Of The Church Walls. Her Paramount Desires Are To Continue Spreading The Message Of Jesus Christ Through Her Anointed Ministry And To Be Pleasing In The Sight Of God.
