Antennasia First Hit The Tokyo Club Scene In 1999. Founded By Programmer Nerve Together With Vocalist San They Gradually Get Recognized In The Down-Tempo Community. After Fabricating 2 Albums In Their Own Back Kitchen The Proper Antennasian Sound Takes Form And Soon Their Works Get Marked No.1 In Japans Internet Charts Steadily Spreading Overseas In Forums And Webzines. Still With A Decent Dash Of Dub And Trip Beats Antennasia Released "Phased" In 2002 From Double Life Records This Time On International Scale Leading To The Single "Mamma Mamma" Getting Airplay In Belgium France And The Netherlands. Followed Some Radio And Paper Interviews And A Tour In Belgium And Holland In 2003 As Well As In 2004 Where Antennasia Appeared On Festivals Sharing The Bill With Sven Van Hees Vive La Fte Sweet Coffee To Name A Few. As A Consequence Antennasia Won Many Hearts And Back Home Received Features In Numerous Paper Magazines. Meanwhile Their 4th Album "Cinemice" Was Released In 2005. In A Blend Of Deep Guts Electro And Soul Jazz San Takes The Lead Getting Her Being Claimed As The Japanese Jill Scott. Suitably Impressed By Antennasias Support In Yokohama For The Lemongrass & Weathertunes 2005 Japan Tour The Same German Musician Collective Takes Them On Board For A Compilation Release. Antennasia Stands Also For Collaborations With Amongst Others Colour Kane Spin-Off Rippleheart And Appears In DJ Acts. More Recently Ryuichi Sakamoto Picked Up Their New Songs A Couple Of Times For His Radio Sakamoto. Being Nominated Each Time Antennasia Received The Fine Prize In January 2006 And The Song "Blue Dress" Has Been Available On Podcasting Version Of The Program. Even More Sakamoto Revealed That He Actually Secretly Buys Their Records. Derrick May Says Sounds Beautiful. Sounds Like Erykah Badu. I Like It It's Good! Good Song. Their Newest Album "23 Bluebird Street Velo-City" Is Out In July 2006.
