Lead Guitarist Tony Springer Was Born In Trinidad And Moved To Toronto In His Teens. He Became A Club Favorite With His Jimi Hendrix Imitations Showcasing His Superb Guitar Work. Wild 'T' And The Spirit Was Formed In1989 In Toronto ON And The Group Became Tony's Showcasing Venue For His Original Music And Songwriting. 'Wild "T" And The Spirit Was Signed To Warner Music Canada And Released Its Debut Album 'Love Crazy' In 1991 Which Was Produced By Arnold Lanni Our Lady Peace The Former Sheriff And Frozen Ghost Keyboardist And Primary Songwriter. However The Same Year That 'Love Crazy' Was Being Released 1991 Tony Was Suggested As The Ideal Guitarist To Assist David Bowie . David Bowie Then Hired Tony To Record On His Next Album Alongside Mick Ronson In Late 1991. The Eventual Bowie Album 'Black Tie White Noise' Which Was Produced By Let's Dance's Infamous Producer Nile Rodgers Features Wild "T" Lead Guitar Fills. Wild "T" Would Also Join Bowie's Touring Band For Almost A Year And He Literally Abandoned His Debut Album Support To Record And Tour With The Rock Legend In 1993. Despite Not Really Touring To Support His Debut 'Love Crazy' Had A Couple Of Radio-Friendly Singles In Canada Most Notably "Midnight Blue" And The Title Track. However The Band Is Still Perhaps Best Known For Its Incredible Live Shows Showcasing Tony's Fine Lead Guitar Virtuosity And Is Constantly Touring Today. Www.WildT.Ca read less
