Pablo Márquez Is An Argentinian Classical Guitarist. He Also Performs With The Trio De Cologne. Pablo Márquez Grew Up In Salta A City Of Rich Cultural Traditions In The North West Of Argentina. After Studying With Jorge Martínez Zárate And Eduardo Fernández In Buenos Aires Pablo Moved To Europe To Complete His Musical Training With Javier Hinojosa Early Music And Eric Sobzyck Conducting . He Also Followed The Teaching Of The Legendary Pianist György Sebök Who Made The Most Profound And Lasting Impression On Him. Several Top Prizes At The Most Important International Competitions Radio France In Paris Villa-Lobos In Rio De Janeiro Geneva Munich Launched Pablo Márquez In A Brilliant Solo Career Around The World. He Collaborated With Great Musicians E.G. Dino Saluzzi Anja Lechner Mario Caroli And The Most Prestigious Ensembles E.G. Ensemble Intercontemporain The Rosamunde Quartett Musicatreize . As A Soloist He Regularly Performs With Major Orchestras Including The Bayerische Rundfunk Orchestra The Nordwest Deustche Philharmonie And The Orchestre Philharmonique De Radio France Under The Baton Of Josep Pons Susanna Mälkki Roland Hayrabedian And Others. He Is Also A Founding Member Of The Ensemble AlmaViva Dedicated In Premiering And Performing Chamber Music Of Latin-American Composers. Pablo Márquez Has Worked With Some Of The Greatest Composers Of Our Time Including Luciano Berio György Kurtág And Mauricio Kagel And Performed Many Of Their Compositions. In 1995 Pierre Boulez Invited Him To Play The Sequenza XI Of Berio On The Occasion Of The 70th Birthday Of The Italian Composer. In 2007 ECM New Series Released The First Classical Guitar Recording Ever Produced By That Prestigious Label Musica Del Delphin Featuring Music Of Luys De Narváez. With This CD Pablo Márquez Won Critical Acclaim All Over The World New York Times Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung... . As Well As In 2008 The Label Kaïros Released His Newest Recording Featuring Luca Francesconi's A Fuoco Concerto For Guitar & Ensemble With The Ensemble Intercontemporain Conducted By Susanna Mälkki. This Later Was Awarded 5 Stars And Chosen CD Of The Month October By The Italian Magazine Musica.
