Frogtoon Music - Song Info: Piel

"Piel" Conveys The Idea Of Shedding The Past And Looking Towards The Future With A Sense Of Uncertainty And Trepidation. The Singer Asks To Have Their Old Skin Removed Symbolizing The Desire To Let Go Of The Person They Used To Be And Move On. They Admit To Not Knowing Much About "distance" And Falling Hinting At A Fear Of Falling Into Old Patterns Or Habits. In The Second Verse The Singer References The Idea That Even Though Trees May Fall They Always Start By Standing Tall Perhaps Suggesting That Even In The Face Of Difficulties We Should Keep Trying To Stand Strong. The Repetition Of The Line "no Sé Caerme" I Don't Know How To Fall Reinforces The Idea Of Not Wanting To Give In To Weakness Or Failure. The Fourth Verse Employs The Imagery Of Shining Skin And Sweet Mouths Perhaps Representing The Seductive Yet Temporary Pleasures Of Life That The Singer Is Trying To Let Go Of. Finally In The Last Verse The Singer Acknowledges That Without Their Past They Feel Lost And Uncertain Describing A "shadow Of Sparks" On Their Skin That Represents The Remnants Of Their Old Self. The Song Ends With A Sense Of Resignation Admitting That Maybe Without Their Past They "don't Know Anything." Overall "Piel" Is A Powerful Reflection On The Struggle To Let Go Of The Past And Embrace The Unknown Future.
