Frogtoon Music Album Info: Crusher

"Crusher" Is Jeremy’s Sophomore Album Released One And Half Year After His Debut Album Love Is Not Dying And 8 Months After His Joint EP "brent Ii" With Chelsea Cutler. After Processing The Heartbreak And Messiness Discussed In His Debut Album Jeremy’s Second Album Explores His Feelings After Some Time Has Passed. During The Rollout Of His First Album Jeremy Mentioned Having A Relationship With A Girl Who Struggled With Drug Addiction Most Notably In 2020 On Zack Sang Show "I Was Seeing This Person That Just Had A Lot Of Issues With Substance Abuse And A Lot Of Mental Health Issues. Basically What Happened Was Like A Month Into The Relationship She Relapsed And It Turned Into Like A Really Difficult Toxic Like Dependency Like Almost Co-Dependent Relationship. I Felt Like I Was Sort Of… She Made Me Feel Like I Was There To Like Help Her Through It Even Though With Addiction Like Nobody Can Help That Person But That Person." Although Both His First And Second Albums Are About The Same Relationship Feelings Expressed In "Crusher" Revolve Around Resentment Letting Go And Moving On Supporting Friends And The Impact Of Heartbreak On Future Relationships. After Moving On From The Toxic Relationship Jeremy Realized The Girl’s Selfishness And Negative Impact. Resentment And Spite Were Seen On Several Songs Including “I Can’t Look At You ” “Therapist ” “Sex & Cigarettes ” “Sociopath” And “No One Hates You Like I Do .” Throughout The Album Jeremy Blasts His Insecurities On Display As Well From Being Overwhelmed With Life In “i-70” To Not Feeling Enough In “When I’m Around.” These Themes Are Recurrent Throughout His Discography Seen On EP’s Such As 2018’s "glisten" And 2017’s "Idle". It’s Important To Note That Jeremy Has Dealt With Depression And Even Wrote A Song About It. The Album’s Visuals Seem To Be Centered Around Construction Dump Trucks And Building Material. This Is Possibly Jeremy’s Nod Towards Hope For Building A Better Future Letting Go Of The Past And Focusing Energy On New Things.
